I apologize for it being a little quiet around here on Cayenne & Carob. Summer is in full swing and with the inviting warm ocean water, I decided to sign up for sea kayaking lessons. TEB and I have been wanting to go kayaking in the San Juan Islands, WA. But rental outfits on Orcas Island require you to have some knowledge of sea kayaking in order to rent equipment. We have spent 12 hours on, in or under our sea kayaks the last two weekends. I normally write posts on Saturday morning but with all this water time I have not found another time to write. Things should be back to normal after this next weekend.
