Julia Child's kitchen, as I saw it in the Julie & Julia movie, might be enough to convince TEB that peg boards in the kitchen are cool. 
I've been wanting a peg board in my kitchen ever since we moved into our coastal apartment, complete with limited cabinet space, 2 years ago.
